Falling Apart at the Seams

This song was written by the songwriter and composer Tony Macauley and recorded by a new line-up of The Marmalade with the front man being Sandy Newman, the bass payer and vocalist being Graham Knight, the guitarist and singer Charlie Smith and drummer being Alan Whitehead.

It was released in 1976 on Target Records with the B-side being “Fly, Fly, Fly” and reached No. 9 in the UK chart, No. 34 in the US Adult Contemporary chart, No. 49 in the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 89 in Australia.

Although not appearing in a studio album, it has appeared on several “Hits” and “Best Of..” albums by The Marmalade as well as compilations of pop music by various artists.
