Royal Ballet Sinfonia

This contracted orchestra is the only one of is type in Britain and regularly performs for several of the English ballet companies including the Royal Ballet and the Royal Birmingham Ballet as well as making appearances with The Royal Ballet.

Aside from their regular English performances they have also appeared with the New York City Ballet, the Kirov and the Paris Opera Ballet among others.  Not always working with ballet or opera companies they have also made a name for themselves by giving concert performances at several major venues in Britain as well as at stately homes where they will play in the grounds.

Moving into the world of recording they have made many CD recordings of ballets, orchestral and string music and film scores, and have supplied the music for video soundtracks to performances by the Birmingham Royal Ballet.
