New Philharmonia Orchestra

This orchestra was originally the Phlharmonia Orchestra and in 1964 it changed its name. It retained the “New” until 1977 when it was returned to The Philharmonia.  Further details of the history and story of the orchestra are found under the entry for The Philharmonia.
