He is a songwriter born in Meiningen, Germany, who also uses the pseudonyms John O’Flynn, Jim Leary and Gunter Johansen. He is also a doctor of agrarian sciences.
He has worked with his friend Ralph Siegel on many hits and songs that were featured in the Eurovision Song contest including “Dschinghis Khan” (Genghis Khan) and “A Little Peace” for Nicole.
He has written songs for other groups including e-Rotic and Vanilla Ninja and he wrote the Top 10 hit “Again and Again” for Laura.
