Extremely prolific studio violinist who has worked in nearly every genre of music and recorded with a wide variety of artists and groups, including Anastacia, Clint Black, Stanley Clarke, George Duke, Earth, Wind & Fire, David Foster, Vince Guaraldi, Hanson, The Isley Brothers, Michael Jackson, k.d. lang, The Manhattan Transfer, Thomas Newman, James Otto, Lisa Marie Presley, A.B. Quintanilla III, Diana Ross, Lalo Schifrin, Frank Sinatra, J.D. Souther, Mel Torme, Kyle Vincent, Caroline Waters, Christopher Young, and Frank Zappa.

John has also been busy in the movie studio, performing on the soundtracks of The Big Bounce, Dreamgirls, Jarhead, A League Of Their Own, Life, Love At First Bite, Matrix Revolutions, National Treasure, The Players Club, Sudden Impact, and Sunset Boulevard. You may have even heard him on TV, as he has been a regular contributor to the scores of Battlestar Galactica and The Simpsons.
