Cellist from Lienz, East Tyrol, Austria, who studied with Christophe Coin, Valentin Erben, Gyorgy Kurtag, Rudolf Leopold, Reinhold Salcher and Aichinger Wolfgang.
Groups with whom he has worked include the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, the Vienna Classical Players, the Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra and he joined the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in 1997.
Recordings on which he appears include Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Solokonzerte fur Violine und Orchester with Rainer Honeck and the Vienna Classical Players.
