White, Joanna Cowan

She is a flautist and conductor who studied at the University of Southern California, the Northwestern University and the University of Michigan.

She has recorded and appeared with several ensembles that include the Eclectic Trio, Powers Woodwind Quintet, in the Crescent Duo with her husband, Kennen White, and is principal flautist of the Saginaw Bay Orchestra and the Midland Symphony.

As a teacher she has given flute workshops at several high, junior high and public schools and she is Professor of Flute at Central Michigan University.
