Waters, Oren (26th March 1949-Present)

Arranger, choir director and vocalist who was a member of The Waters, along with his brother Luther and sisters Julia and Maxine. They have recorded in various combinations over the years, on a purported total of more than 100 platinum and 260 gold albums.

Oren’s discography is massive, and the following is just a snapshot of his prolific output. On the small screen, he is has sung music for the following programs: American Dreams, Boston Legal, A Different World, Fame, The Grammy Awards, Howie Mandel, The Jeffersons, Married With Children, The People’s Choice Awards, Quincy Jones 50^th Year, The Simpsons, and The Tonight Show.

Gamers may have heard him without even knowing it: He is credited as a member of the chorus on the soundtrack to God of War.

In the field of music education, he has served on the faculty of the California College of Music.
