She is a violinist from Poland who studied at the Academy of Music in Warsaw and Gdansk between 1974 and 1979, where she earned her master”s degree. Her family members include her son Mikolaj Warszynski and Zuzana Simurdova on piano and the violinist Alicja Warszynski.
In 1984 she became a member of the second violin section of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
She is a co-founder of the Mazurka Musik and Art organisation, performs as a member of the Warszynski Trio and is also a member of New Music Edmonton.
Recordings she has performed on, outwith the ESO, include her own The Shape of Things along with The Doorway by Anna Beaumont.
