Choirmaster and organist whose career dates back to the 1950s, when he had the honour of participating in the American Guild of Organists 60th National Convention in New York, New York. He was the service organist on Tuesday, 26th June, at St. Thomas Church, where he served from 1952 to 1964. During one of those years, he assumed headmaster duties when the regular headmaster took ill.
Edward went on to become the music director of the Choir of the Church of St. Michael and St. George in St. Louis, Missouri. With them, he recorded the albums, A Choral Flourish – Music from St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, Music from Westminster Abbey, and This Stupendous Stranger: Music for Christmas and Epiphany.
