Violist who started out on the violin at eight years of age but gravitated to the viola at eighteen. He attended Cambridge University and the Royal College of Music and studied under the watchful eye of Bruno Giurana. He has been a member of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Composer Resource Ensemble, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Philharmonia Orchestra of London.
