She is a violist who studied at the Lyon Conservatoire followed by the Paris Conservatoire. She became a member of the Orchestre National de Lyon and stayed with them for a year.
She also performed with the Youth Orchestra of the European Community led by Herbert von Karajan and Claudio Abbado and has also been the principal violist of the Jean-Francois Paillard Chamber Orchestra.
