Sullivan, Jacquie

Background vocalist who recorded with Bryan Ferry in the ’70s on a couple of albums, In Your Mind and Let’s Stick Together.  In 1978, she was part of a short-lived production of Tommy at The Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch.  A year later, she appeared on Frank Sinatra’s Trilogy album.  In 1977 she released the single “How Can I Say Goodbye”.

Other artists with whom she has recorded include Graham Bonnet, Arthur Brown, Cerrone, John Glover, The Goodies, Norman Jay, Doris Jones, Julie Lavender, Olympic Runners, Alan Price, Labi Siffre, Sirkel & Co., Edwin Starr, and Evelyn Thomas.

In the ’90s, she appeared on the gospel anthology Portrait of a Spirit and Neal Fox’s Meat Street.  She is also credited as having done the vocal arrangements, as well as performing backing vocals, on Fat Danny & Hard Tymz’s Life Behind the 8 Ball.

Jacquie is a Sixteenth Note member of the Society of Singers, Inc.
