He is a baritone singer-songwriter who undertook his studies at the Indiana Wesleyan University and the University of Minnesota.
During his career he has worked a wide variety of jobs including as a voice-over artists on several projects. He has been a soloist and recording artist and has worked for the radio station YourClassical MPR in Minnesota.
He has performed with the Beethoven Festival Chorale, the Montana Chorale, the Oregon Bach Festival Choir, the Grammy Award nominated Dale Warland Singers, which he joined in 1994, and The Singers.
Recordings he has performed on include At the River (American Folk Songs, Spirituals and Hymns) by The Singers and Christmas with the Dale Warland Singers by the Dale Warland Singers.
