Sikorska, Agata

Violinist who studied at the Hochshule fur Musik in Poznan, the Universitat der Kunste in Berlin and the Universitat fur Musik in Vienna.  Her teachers included Bartosz Bryla and Rainer Kuchl.

Groups with whom she has worked include the Austrian Youth Orchestra, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin, the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, the Komische Oper Berlin, the National Opera in Wroclaw, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, which she joined in 2004 as second violin.

On 8th November 2011, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and Eroica Trio interpreted Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano in C major, Op. 56” (“Triple Concerto”) in Foellinger Great Hall at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.  The concert concluded with Johannes Brahms’ “Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 73”.
