Shulman, Jack

He is a violinist, concertmaster, conductor occasionally listed as Jack Schulman, based in Los Angeles, California, who was a much sought after session musician from at least the start of the 1950s when he was recording with Nat King Cole. He was also the leader of his Jack Shulman String Section.

In the mid 1970s he was also the concertmaster with The Love Unlimited Orchestra for My Sweet Summer Suite led by Barry White and Gene Page.

Some of the countless artists he worked with in the studio over the years include Cannonball Adderley, Ann-Margret, David Axelrod, Harry Chapin, Dizzy Gillespie, Lesley Gore, Jimmy Jackson, Dean Martin, Rod McKuen, Rick Nelson, Helen Reddy, O.C. Smith and Stevie Woods.
