He is a tubist, technical sergeant and teacher born in Detroit Michigan who studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Saint Louis Conservatory of Music.
After graduation he became a freelance musician and appeared with various ensembles and orchestras in the Saint Louis area such as the Saint Louis Brass Quintet and the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and has performed on the recording Christmas at the Cathedral, performed by the Saint Louis Cathedral Choir.
He became a principal tubist for several bands and orchestras that include the Fox Theater Orchestra, Gateway Festival Orchestra, the Might Mississippi Concert Band and the Saint Louis Philharmonic.
He joined the US Air Force in 1997 and after completing his training he became an assigned member of the United States Air Force Band of the West as a tuba soloist, also playing with their Gateway Brass.
Alongside his position as a musician he has also been a teacher of music and been on the faculties of the University of the Incarnate Word and the Southern Illinois University. He has held the position of instructor on the faculty of the University of Texas in San Antonio.
He is the recipient of several military achievement medals.
