He was a tuba payer and professor who performed tuba with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Brass.
In the field of musical education he was a Professor of Tuba at the University of Music and Performing arts in Vienna and taught many successful musicians.
Recordings he appeared on outside of ones by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra are Heinz Karl Gruber by the MOB Art & one Art Ensemble and EU by Werner Pirchner.
He died in 2012.
