Trombonist from Southern California who started playing at eleven years of age and studied with Donald Kimble, Roy Main, Jeff Reynolds and Robert Simmergren.
At twenty-one years of age, he became a member of the Disneyland Band. Other groups with whom he has worked include Bill Watrous’s Refuge West, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Hollywood Trombones, the Jack Sheldon Orchestra, the Jimmy Cleveland Orchestra, the L.A. Terrible Tempered Trombones, Opera Pacific, the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, and the Pandemonia Orchestra.
In the field of music education, he has taught at Bones West in Santa Ana, California State University in Fullerton, and the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival. He has also given private lessons in his home studio. His students have included Bill Haugeberg, George Johnston, and Christian Allan Ramirez.

On the small screen, he has performed on the scores of The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., China Beach, Diagnosis Murder, Histeria, Pinky and the Brain, The Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Sledge Hammer!, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Tiny Toons.
He has served as president of the Theater Musicians Association’s Southern California Chapter and sat on the boards of the TMA and American Federation of Musicians’ Local 7.
