He was a guitarist and singer based in Houston, Texas who founded Minor Records with his brother in 1956.
He released several singles on his own label as well as with D Records that include “The Last Town I Painted, “Look At You Go”, “The Things I Can Change”, “You’re the One” and his most successful “Someone”. Also during these years he was a member of Houston’s Town & Country Show.

He continued his career by working for the Stoneway label and in the 1970s released the albums Flattop Guitar Man, Flattop Pickin’ and Danny on Nylon. He also worked as a session musician for other artists at Stoneway and performed rhythm guitar on Paul Buskirk’s 1975 Hot Pickin’.
Danny passed away in 1995.
