She is a bassoonist, conductor and teacher who studied at the Curtis Institute of Music in the Class of 1996.
She has performed with many orchestras and ensembles on the east coast of America such as the Delaware Symphony, the Dolce Suono Ensemble, Orchestra 2001, Pennsylvania Ballet and Schola Nova. Alongside these, she has appeared at the Evian Festival and the Spoleto Festival and played under the leadership of conductors such as Andre Previn, Sir Simon Rattle and Wolfgang Sawallisch.
As a soloist she appeared at the New York String Orchestra Seminar held at Carnegie Hall and she is now the Principal Bassoon of The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.
In her capacity as a conductor she has led the woodwind section of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra.
Appearing on several recordings she has performed on Verdi: Requiem by the Ama Deus Ensemble, Samuel Barber at 100 by the Dolce Suono Ensemble and Maggio: River Song and Music of Our Time, Vol. 5 by Orchestra 2001.
In the field of musical education she has been on the faculities of the Haddonfield School of Performing Arts, the Immaculata College, the University of Pennsylvania and was the launcher and director of Temple University Music Prep’s program of woodwind chamber music.
Her husband is the trombonist, music director and conductor Paul Bryan.
