Romeri, Karen

She is a singer, assistant music director, conductor who studied for her Masters degree at the Westminster Choir College in New Jersey.

After begnniing her career in music she moved to Saint Louis from Pittsburgh with her husband John Romeri.  They were both extremely active with the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis and she was the conductor of the Archdiocesan Handbell Choir, organist and singer in the choir. With the choir she appeared on their holiday recording Christmas at the Cathedral.

The piece “Starlight Streams from Ancient Fires” by Herman Stuempfle and Kathy Powell was dedicated to her and her husband.
