Robinson, Skip

Skip led his own band Skip Robinson and The Imperials and recorded in June 1960  “This Little Boy’s Gone Lookin’” backed with “You Must Suffer For Love” on the Kim Records label.  Making several other singles he appeared on the flip song of Hoyt Axton’s “I Just Can’t Wait” and is known as an artist in the Northern soul realm.  He also appears on the Beaver Records anthology, That’s Rock & Roll, Vol 15.  In the late ‘70s/early ‘80s, he contributed background vocals to the funk group Shotgun.
