Violinist from Saint Maur, France, who discovered the violin at three years of age and began performing when he was four years old. He attended the Guildhall School of Music, the Paris Conservatoire, the Salzburg Summer Academy, and Washington University. His teachers included Pierre Doukan, David Takeno, and Denes Zsigmondy.
In 1995, he formed the European Camerata, which he cobbled together with alumni from the European Union Youth Orchestra. He joined the London Symphony Orchestra in 1996.
Other groups with whom he has worked include the European Chamber Soloists, the European Soloists Ensemble, the London Chamber Orchestra, the London Sinfonietta, the Mullova Ensemble, the Nash Ensemble, Orchestre d’Auvergne, Orchestre des Prix du Conservatoire, Orchestre National d’Avignon, Orchestre Revolutionaire et Romantique, Orchestre Royal de Flandres, Oxalys, the Scottish Ensemble, and the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra.
On 2nd January 2000, he led the European Camerata in a performance of “Serenade for Strings” by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky at Wigmore Hall.
He conducted them in a performance of Kenneth Leighton’s “Veris Gratia” in Versailles, France, on 15th April 2001.
On 3rd April 2007, he and pianist Tom Blach teamed up for a recital at Erasmus Huis in Kuningan, South Jakarta, that comprised Johannes Brahms’ “Sonata No. 3 in D minor, Op. 108”, Cesar Franck’s “Sonata in A major” and Robert Schumann’s “Sonata in A minor”.
He was the guest director of the Scottish Ensemble in March 2008. The recital, which took place in Perth, featured double bassist Edgar Meyer Giovanni Bottesini’s “Concerto in B minor”, David Diamond’s “Rounds for String Orchestra” and his own “Quintet”.

He can also be heard on the soundtrack of the 2011 film, Columbiana.
In the field of music education, he has served as an instructor at the Bandung Music Camp.
