Oracova, Zuzana (1979?-Present)

She is a violinist who took her musical studies at a school in her native Liptovsky Kakava before entering the Kosice Conservatory where she won the Slovakian Competition of Slovak Conservatories competition for Best Interpretation in 1996. She later attended the School of Performing Arts in Bratislava.

In her professional career as a violinist she performed and recorded with the flamenco ensemble Los Remedios and performed with them in 2005 at the Bratislava Jazz Festival and in the 2007 International Flamenco Festival at Bratislava.

She became the recipient the Golden Note Award by the Slovak Savings Bank in 2006 and went on to perform with the Slovak State Chamber Orchestra of Prague and has most recently held the position of First Violin at the State Philharmonic Orchestra, Kosice, which she joined in 2004.

In 2009 she performed in a duo with Peter Olejar at the premiere of a tone poem by Norbert Bodnar at the Velkych Kapusian music festival.  She also performs in the duo Il Duetto with the pianist Andy Belej.
