Violist who has been a member of Camerata Cassovia and the Slovak State Philharmonic Orchestra, Kosice (CSSR). Both groups have made numerous appearances on the Marco Polo and Naxos labels.
Peter had his formal training at the Kosice conservatory and private studies with Michaela Schaller Helmut Cutka in Vienna, Austria. He spent a decade with the State Philharmonic, although he enjoys performing in smaller ensembles such as the Kosice Quartet and a duo with violinist Zuzana Oracova. The two of them premiered Norbert Bodnar’s tone poem at the Velkych Kapusian music festival in 2009.
