Oh, Grace

She is a violinist who studied at La Sierra University where she received the Outstanding Performer award from the music department and the President’s Award from the university.  She took further studies at the University of Michigan.

Working as a freelance musician in her professional career under the direction of acclaimed conductors that include James Conlon, Seiji Ozawa and Esa-Pekka Salonen, she has worked with a huge variety of orchestras throughout America.  These include the American Ballet Theater, the Flint Symphony Greater Lansing Symphony, Long Beach Symphony, Opera Pacific Orchestra, Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Ballet and Traction Ave Chamber Orchestra.

Making appearances at music events she has performed at the Aspen Music Festival, the Banff Centre and the Tanglewood Music Center.

In the field of music education she has been a coach in the company of musicians from the Boston Symphony Orchestra and with eminent performers that include Andrew Jennings and Emmanuel Ax.

In recent times she has been a member of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Pacific Symphony, who she joined in 2001, as well as a musician who has extensively toured with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Los Angeles Opera Orchestra.

A regular studio musician she has performed on many albums with a few of them including Daughtry by Daughtry,  Into the Sky by Nick Rosen, Slash by Slash, Lights and Sounds by Yellowcard and the soundtracks for Blades of Glory, Bobby, Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, Disturbia, Nativity Story, Sucker Punch and Uninvited.
