Malarsky, Leonard (25th July 1920-11th April 2006)

Violinist who was busy in the recording studios in the ‘60s and ‘70s.  He was an erstwhile member of the Abnuceals Emuukha Electric Symphony Orchestra.

On 11th August 1962, he laid down tracks for Nat “King” Cole’s recordings of “One Has My Name, the Other Has My Heart”, “Sing Another Song (and We’ll All Go Home)”, “Skip to My Lou”, “When You’re Smiling” and “Wolverton Mountain”.  He did similar duties in June 1968 for the NBC television special, Elvis.

He can also be heard on the soundtracks of Big WednesdayDesire Under the ElmsA Guide for the Married Man, and Mutiny on the Bounty.

He died in Los Angeles in 2006 when he was 85 years old.
