He is a trumpeter born in Mistelbach, Austria, who took his studies at the Vienna Conservatory and Salzburg’s University Mozarteum.
While still a student he performed in Sydney, Australia, as a member of the Olympic Band in the opening ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games.
In 2003, which was his final year of studies, he became a first trumpet for the Dortmund Philharmonic. Four years later he was given the position of trumpeter with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
In 2012 he performed as a member of the Vienna Symphony Brass at the Bregenzer Festspiele.
He has lent his talents to several other Austrian and German orchestras that include the Dusseldorf Symphony, the Duisburg Phlharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna Volksopernorchester.
