Violinist from Lausanne, Switzerland, who attended the Conservatoire de Musique Neuchatel, the Musik-Akademie in Basel, and the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam.
On 22nd January 2000, she teamed up with Marcelo Costas and Claudio Jacomucci to perform in concert at the Academy of Tango in Amsterdam.
Groups with whom she has worked include the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra.
On 21st December 2002, the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra, in collaboration with GrootOmroepkoor, delivered an early Christmas package that included Roel van Oosten’s “Quatre Noels Anciens”, Arvo Part’s “Cantus in memory of Benjamin Britten”, Alexandre Tansman’s oratorio, Isaie, le Prophete, and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on Christmas Carols”.
Sarah appeared on a pair of albums, An Acoustic Measurements Demo CD and High-End Audiophile Test Demo CD – 5th Edition, on which she interpreted Rodion Shchedrin’s “Variations & Theme 1998”.
On 22nd November 2008, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra performed Luca Francesconi’s “Hard Pace, voor trompet en groot orkest”, George Gershwin’s “An American in Paris”, and Dmitri Shostakovich’s “Zesde symphonie in b, opus 54”.
The Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic offered up Antonin Dvorak’s Polednice, Geza Frid’s“Ritmische studies opus 58”, Zoltan Kodaly’s “Dansen van Galanta”, and Gyorgy Ligeti’s“Vioolconcert” on 6th February 2009. On 14th February 2009, they played Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Klavierconcert in g, BWV 1058”, Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Tweede symfonie in D, op. 36”, Robert Schumann’s “Fuga uber den Namen Bach, op. 60 nr. 6”, and Igor Stravinsky’s “Concerto in D”. They performed Henk Bading’s “Harpconcert”, Beethoven’s “Ouverture Die Weihe des Hauses”, and Shostakovich’s “Eerste symfonie”, on 31st October 2009.
On 6th March 2010, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra presented a double bill of Benjamin Britten’s “Vioolconcert in D, opus 15” and Shostakovich’s “Zevende symfonie, opus 60 ‘Leningrad’”.
