She is a violinist born in Montreal, Quebec who earned her Bachelor of Music degree at the Curtis Institute of Music.
She performed as Associate Concertmaster of the Alabama Symphony and a member of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra before joining the Minnesota Orchestra’s First Violin Section in 1994.
As a chamber musician she has performed at the Minnesota Orchestra chamber concerts and accompanied Emanuel Ax on Piano Quintet by Brahms at the 1996 Sommerfest. She has been a former member of the Rosalyra Quartet, performed with the Bakken Trio and in 2010 performed on the Chamber Music at MacPhail series.
Recordings she has performed on include That You May Have Life: Musical Stories from the Gospel of John by Marty Haugen, Janet by Janet Jackson, Aida by Elton John and Tim Rice, Les Petits Violons by Les Petits Violons, This Moment Is Mine by Chante Moore and Kodaly/Bartok: Divertimento – Romanian Folk-Dances/Marosszek Dances – Galanta Dances by The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra.
In the field of musical education she has been on the string faculty of the Northern Lights Music Festival and teaches at her own private studio.
