Kuszyk, Brian

Trumpeter who attended Temple University and took studies with Seymour Rosenfeld before going on to a busy career on the symphony circuit.

He has served as Principal Trumpet for the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, the Opera Company of Philadelphia, and the Pennsylvania Ballet.

Other artists and groups with which he has performed include the Bethlehem Bach Festival Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, The Colonial Players, Nicole Cresse, Denyce Graves, Ed Hafer, Barry Manilow, Luciano Pavarotti, Tony Randall, the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, the Philadelphia Brass, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the United Church of Christ at Valley Forge Senior Choir.

Recordings on which he appears comprise Christmas in the Grand TraditionGloria!  Gloria!, and Joan Lippincott & Philadelphia Brass.

In June 2009, he played the solo trumpet bits in Princeton Festival’s mounting of the Benjamin Britten opera, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

He helped rededicate the Church of the Redeemer in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, on 17th January 2010.
