Kuenster, T.J.

He is a pianist, singer-songwriter, music director, arranger and producer born Thomas Joseph Kuenster who started working with the singer Glen Campbell in 1977 and worked with him for the next several decades.

His work with Glen Campbell saw him working as akeyboardist, pianist and music director for his concerts, recordings and TV shows that include his half-hour variety show on NBC and PBS’s concert with the South Dakota Symphony as well as his guest slots on shows such as Later with Jools Holland and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The recordings he has performed on include Basic, Live at the Royal Festival Hall, Highwayman, It’s the World Gone Crazy, Old Home Town, Show Me Your Way, Favorite Hymns, Jesus and Me: The Collection and Live from the Troubadour by Glen Campbell along with several compilations.

As a songwriter, producer and scriptwriter he has worked on films such as RockaDoodle , All Dogs Go to Heaven and Stanley’sMagic Garden.

He also works with his jazz groups High Plains Jazz and American Songbook and works as a solo artist.
