Violinist with the Franciscus Quartet, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic, and the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, a collective known for offering up not-your-average fare.

In June 2006, Pamela was in the orchestra for a production of Peter Eotvos’s Angels in America at the Holland Festival. She appeared on Sarah Fairfield’s Dreams & Schemes & Parades, in 2009.

Here are a few of the ambitious programs the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra has presented with Pamela in one of the violin chairs:

On 6^th February 2009, they performed Antonin Dvorak’s Polednice (De middagheks), Geza Frid’s “Studies, Op. 58”, Zoltan Kodaly’s “Dansen van Galanta”, and Gyorgy Ligeti’s“Violin Concerto”.

No less eclectic were their concerts in 2010: On 29^th April, they sandwiched Richard Ayres’ “No. 30 NONcerto voor cello, sopraan en orkest” in between Thomas Ades’ “Overture, Waltz and Finale uit Powder Her Face” and William Walton’s “Façade, an Entertainment”.

They collaborated with Groot Omroepkoor on 14^th May in a double-header of lesser known works by well-known composers: Vojevoda (De veldheer), Op. 78 a symphonic ballad by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Vesna (Voorjaar), Op 20, a cantata for baritone, chorus and orchestra by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Eight days later, they were sinking their teeth into William Jeths’ “Violin Concerto No. 2 – diptych portrait”, Oliver Messiaen’s “Et expecto resurrectionem mortuorum”, and Toru Takemitsu’s “A Flock descends into the Pentagonal Garden”.

A flock of string quartet aficionados have descended on the Franciscus Quartet’s Special Arrangements, a CD of works not originally written for string quartet, but arranged for string quartet, frequently by their composers. The album teams Pamela and Diana Morris on violins with Frank Brakkee on viola and Sebastiaan van Eck on violoncello. It features the music of Ludwig van Beethoven, Antonin Dvorak, Luis Gianneo, Franz Joseph Haydn, Astor Piazzolla, Franz Schubert, and Dmitri Shostakovich.
