She is a cellist who studied at the University of Southern California graduating with a Master’s degree and a prize for performance.
She has worked as a soloist, guest artist, orchestra member and a chamber musician and some of the ensembles she has appeared with are the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra, Current Sounds New Music Consortium, Czech National Symphony, William Kraft’s Ensemble fo Contempotary Music, New West Symphony, Nouvelle Image, the Pacifica Quartet, the Rochelle Abramson Ensemble and the Sacramento String Quartet.
Performing at many music festivals and concerts she was invited by the MTA as a guest musician to be part of the octet ensemble to play in the premier of the opera Hobson’s Choice by John Bigg’s. Sought after as a soloist she was the featured cellist in the opera Noyes Fludde by Benjamin Britten and premiered Concerto for Cello & Chamber Orchestra by John Biggs with the New West Symphony in 1997.
She has also been a duo member with the Celtic harpist Kim Robertson, with whom she has released the albums Gratitude and Celtic Christmas II. Working on productions for children she was a featured artist on The Crystal Harp, which is a musical narrative.
