He is a lyric baritone singer, voice-over artist and teacher born in Long Island, New York, as one of ten children.
In 1991 he became a member of the men’s choral ensemble Chanticleer and with them toured nationally and internationally and making over a dozen recordings.
He left Chanticleer in 2000 and in 2004 was in a documentary filmed at the Carmel Bach Festival where he was in a masterclass series held there.
He has appeared as a soloist or ensemble member with orchestras such as the American Bach Soloists, the Minnesota Orchestra, the San Francisco Bach Choir and the San Francisco Ballet and is a staff singer at Wall Street’s Trinity Church in New York.
Singing in many operas and productions, he has taken part in J.S. Bach’s Passions and cantatas, Samuel Barber’s Dover Beach, Benjamin Britten’s Curlew River, Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Mozart’s Great Mass in C Minor, Puccini’s La Boheme, Vaughn Williams’ Five Mystical Songs and Vivaldi’s Magnificat as well as the world premiere of Stephen Paulus’s To Be Certain of the Dawn.
Of the albums he has recorded a few include the Grammy Award winning Color of Love as well as Lost in the Stars, Portrait and Sing We Christmas with Chanticleer and No-One is Alone by Barbara Cook, Tavener: Ikos of Eros by the Minnesota Orchestra and Cantate by The Troubadours of the Pacific Boy Choir.
His voice-over talents have been heard on several commercials, documentaries and “on-hold” messages. In the field of musical education he is currently a singing tutor on Long Island and in Manhattan.
