Drummer and songwriter whose career stretches back to 1972, when he appeared on Eric Kloss’salbum, One, Two, Free.
Other artists and groups with whom he has worked include Shaun Cassidy, Dr. Dre, Sheena Easton, The Everly Brothers, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Leif Garrett, Maureen McGovern, Olivia Newton-John, and John Schneider.
As a songwriter, he has co-penned “Hit and Run”, “Love”, “O.k. Bayou”, “Pictures in the Attic”, “Relentless”, and “Someone Else’s Arms”, as well as jingles for A&E, Budweiser, IBM, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and MSNBC.
His television work does not stop at commercials, however, as he has drummed on the soundtracks of a wide variety of shows, including Family Ties, Murphy Brown, and cartoons featuring Marvel superheroes.
He also has some acting credits on his resume, appearing in Blue Valley Songbird alongside Dolly Parton, The Mafu Cage with Lee Grant, and the Broadway musical, Ring of Fire.
In 1994, he moved from Los Angeles to Nashville, where he has worked ever since.
The CD era affords us many opportunities to hear his drum work on albums ranging from Air Supply’s Christmas Album to The Best of Wayne Newton Now.
