Kirk, Athena

Alto who was a member of the Harvard University Choir and appeared on their yuletide offering, Christmas in the Busch.

She won a Norton Fellowship and studied in Athens, Greece, in the summer of 2003.  Then she matriculated to the University of California, Berkeley, where she was a Jacob Hirsch Fellow in the Classics department, and joined the school’s a cappella choir, Perfect Fifth.

She went to Indiana University where she became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Classical Studies and moved to Cornell University as an Assistant Professor in 2014.

Other groups with whom she has performed include the Chalice Consort, Choralis, the Josquin Singers, Pacific Collegium, the St. Joseph of Arimathea choir, and the UC Chamber Chorus.
