Kaufmann, Ronn B.

French horn player with the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra who appeared on Frank Sinatra’s 1979 boxed set, Trilogy, and went on to a pretty successful career as a studio musician, appearing on Celine Dion’s massive hit, “My Heart Will Go On”.  He also appeared on the subsequent (not to mention surreal) My Heart Will Go On (Dance Mixes).

In 1992, he lent some brass support to Yasuko Agawa’s Le Cinema.  It must have been a portent of things to come.  In the new millennium, he did quite a bit of film work, appearing on the soundtracks The Affair of the NecklaceJay and Silent Bob Strike BackThe Preacher’s Wife, and XXX.

In the spring of 2001, he was a member of the orchestra for a production of Evita at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.  He also appeared with the Citrus College Jazz Ensemble on their album Time Was…

He performs here on the theme to “L.A. Law”…
