Katz, David

Busy session violinist who appeared on just about every album Acker Bilk recorded, in addition to the soundtrack for Help! and a handful of Elton John albums, including his eponymous sophomore effort, Madman Across the Water, and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

He was also busy with the Bee Gees, appearing on their Best Of album, as well as IdeaTales from the Brothers Gibb, and To Whom It May Concern.  Other artists and groups he has worked with include Air Supply, The Art of Noise, Kate Bush, Roger Daltrey, Donovan, Art Garfunkel, The Hollies, The Manhattan Transfer, Lorrie Morgan, Alan Parsons, Leo Sayer, Carly Simon, T. Rex, Rick Wakeman, The Walker Brothers, and John Williams (the guitarist).

He appeared on a few soundtracks, including The Best of the ThunderbirdsCaptain ScarletJoe 90Space:  1999 Year 1The Spy Who Loved MeThunderbirds, and Thunderbirds 2.
