He is a trumpeter, pastor and teacher born in North Augusta, South Carolina.
He studied at Ithaca College, the University of South Carolina, the University of Georgia and Shenandoah University.
In his musical career he has performed with ensembles that include the Bulldog Brass Quintet, Tim Zimmerman & The King’s Brass and is presently with the Crescent Brass along with his wife, the trombonist Kate Jenkins..
In the recording studio he was featured on the Tim Zimmerman & The King’s Brass Classic Hymns.
In his capacity as a teacher he was Interim Director of Bands and Director of Brass Studies at Brevard Collage, North Carolina and is currently the Pastor of Instrumental Music in the East Cooper Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
