She is a trombonist, music director and teacher born in Vermont who studied at the University of Georgia and Ithaca University.
In her professional career she has been a co-founder of Crescent Brass, Principal Trombone with the Lyra Vivace Chamber Orchestra as well as performing as second trombone with the Hilton Head Symphony, and been a member of the Bulldog Brass Quintet, Tim Zimmerman & The King’s Brass, Augusta Opera, Augusta Choral Society, Charleston Symphony and the South Carolina Philharmonic.
During the summer months she has regularly toured Switzerland and Germany with Eurobrass.
Taking part in several competitions she became a finalist in the International Trombone Festival and at the Eastern Trombone Workshop, both times as a soloist.
As a music director she has led the Kiokee Baptist Church Orchestra and in the world of musical education she has held positions on the faculty of Palmetto Christian Academy as the Director of Bands, and at Augusta State University as a teacher of humanities and trombone.
She performs as a trombone soloist here on Aaron Copland’s “Quiet City” with the SouthCoast Symphony.,,
