He is a singer and businessman who has been in the music business in and around Saint Louis, Missouri, for many years. He has held the position of President of the Irwin Music Stores and also General Manager of the Ludwig Aeolian Music Store chain.
He has sung with the Saint Louis Cathedral Basilica Choir and he and his late wife, Dr. Frances Irwin, both appeared on the holiday recording Christmas at the Cathedral.
He ran his business Classic Keyboards and acted as Vice Chairperson for the Metro South Arts Council in Saint Louis.
