Hylan, Mary

She is a singer also known as Mary Hylan Cain who has been a session musician for artists such as The Boys Town Gang, Irene Cara, Natalie Cole and Nino Tempo and won a Grammy with Clare Fischer’s Salsa Picante.

Albums she appears on include her own Mary’s Christmas and Fandango by Herb Alpert, Elvis: Ultimate Gospel by Elvis Presley, Living With War by Neil Young, Disney’s Mickey’s Sports Songs and the soundtracks of King Kong, Van Helsing and X-Men among others.  She was also the singing voice of the character Bibi played by the actress Catherine Mary Stewart in the 1980 film The Apple and appeared in the TV series Designing Women.

More recently she has been a member of the group L’Arc and works in the greater Los Angeles area as an Empowerment Counselor and singer.
