Double-bassist who has been a member of the Local 47 orchestra and performed as the Principal Bass for the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival from 1970. Prior to this he was a member of the Seattle Symphony for four years.
He has also performed as Principal Bass for the Peter Britt Music Festival. at the Ojai Festival and with the Roger Wagner Chorale Orchestra, He and his wife, the pianist Linda Ninomiya, and the double-bassist Clifton Swanson, performed a double-bass recital at the California Polytechnic State University with works for piano and double bass in October 1975.
As a session musician he performed on Helen Reddy’s Ear Candy in 1977 and Frank Sinatra’s 1979 boxed set, Trilogy.
He also performed as a singer on the soundtracks of Back to the Future, The Dead Pool, The Last Starfighter, Out of Africa, Police Academy and Psycho among others .
