Holladay, Ginger (28th April 1951-Present)

She is a singer, songwriter, voice coach, massage practitioner and yoga instructor born in Leeds Alabama, who later worked in Leavenworth, Washington. She is the sister of the singer Mary Holladay, who she often worked with.

As a singer, many artists including Elvis Presley called upon her services. Working with him for the whole of the 1970s until his death, she duetted with him on “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” and performed on many of his hit songs including “Burning Love”, “Always on My Mind” and “Way Down”.

Other artists she has worked with include Joan Baez, Brewer & Shipley, Jimmy Buffett, Donovan, England Dan & Jon Ford Coley, Waylon Jennings, Reba McEntire, Linda Ronstadt, Percy Sledge and Conway Twitty and her singing has also been heard on television and radio commercials.
