He s a trombonist born in Murzzuschlag, Austria who studied the trombone from the age of 10 at the Johannes Brahma Musikschole before taking further studies at the Universitat fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna.
He became a member of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in 2004 and has also been a member of The Vienna Trombone Quartet who are exclusively also members of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra since a reshuffle in 2005.
Other ensembles and orchestras he has performed with include Austria Brass Connection, Wiener Akademie, dem Clemecic Consort, Wiener Concertverein and the Johann Strauss Festival Orchestra.
