Hoeren, Harald

He is a German pianist, harpsichord player and professor who is a soloist and member of the Cologne Chamber Orchestra.

His career has seen him touring internationally, performing in countries all over Asia, South America and Europe.

No stranger to the studio, he has recorded in the region of around 100 albums from the late 1970s onwards which include his solo J.C. Bach: Six Sonatas, Op. 17, Wilhelm Friedmann Bach: Works for Piano, Armand-Louis Couperin: Pieces de Clavecin and Telemann: Overtures for Harpsichord and also Bach: Complete Orchestral Box Set, Haydn: Concertos for Harpsichord & Organ, Discover Music of the Baroque Era and The Best of Baroque with the Cologne Chamber Orchestra.

In the world of musical education he was a guest professor at the University of Philippines in 1983 and 1990 and since 1984 has been a teacher of historical keyboard instruments at the Frankfurt Musikhichschule.
