Hilliard, Lisa

She is a soprano born in Atlanta, Georgia, who studied for her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at the Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia.

She has gone on to perform as a soloist and ensemble member in and around the Atlanta area.  She has also performed with the New York Choral Society and New York Philharmonic and been a soloist at New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine and the Washington National Cathedral.

She was a member of the Robert Shaw Chamber Singers during the 1990s and appeared on the recording Songs of Angels: Christmas Hymns & Carols, which was conducted by Robert Shaw.

During the 2000s she was a member of the Choir of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Atlanta and appeared as a soloist on their A Christmas Alleluia and the 2005 recording of Douglas Major’s Requiem Mass in C Minor.

After relocating to Florida she has sung the National Anthem for President Bush at the Pensacola Civic Center and performed with the Gulf Coast Chorale, the Pensacola Choral Society and the Pensacola Opera.

She has also been on the faculty of Time to Shine! The Center for Performing Arts in Pace, Florida.
