She is violist born in Edmonton, Alberta who studied at the University of Calgary, where she earned her Bachelor of Music with distinction. She also graduated from the Vancouver Academy of Music with an Artist Diploma and took other studies at the Banff Centre for the Arts.
Performing with various orchestras during her musical career she has toured Europe and Asia with the Jeunesses Musicales World Youth Orchestra, the National Academy Orchestra, the Okanogan Symphony and the Vancouver Island Symphony. In 2002 she became a violist with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
As a chamber musician in many concerts and with ensembles such as Ken Sangster’s Obsessions String Quartet and Obsessions Octet. Events include performances at Carnegie Hall the Edmonton Recital Society’s A Celebration of International Women’s Month in 2022. She is also a founder of Onyx string quartet with three other members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
Recordings she has performed on include Obsession by Ken Sangster’s Obsession Octet and Let Go Of Your Bad Days by The Salteens.
